Enhance Fitness is a low cost hour long program designed for older adults. This program is one of the most effective fitness classes because it was developed on a foundation of scientific research and feedback from participants. The core components of the program are strength training, flexibility, and cardiovascular conditioning. The exercises are safe because they were designed by trained experts in physical therapy with the help of agencies that serve older adults.
Each participant works at their own speed and level with help from their instructor. Your instructor will help develop a program tailored to your needs. The classes are casual, one hour, and attended by other older adults. At the beginning of each class, there will be a warm up session. You will be using light soft-weights (provided) during the class with a cool down session. For best results, the recommended attendance per week is three times.
